Responsibilities: |
Position 1: AI-Driven Software Verification and Validation Assistant
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Kruti Shah Responsibilities:
- Assist in integrating AI-driven capabilities within software engineering methodologies to enhance verification and validation (V&V) processes.
- Conduct experiments to develop and evaluate scalable and robust V&V systems.
- Analyze results to ensure quality and safety improvements in software systems, including safety-critical applications.
- Collaborate with faculty and peers to refine methodologies and document findings.
Position 2: Cybersecurity and AI Research Assistant
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Chetan Jaiswal Responsibilities:
- Engage in research involving Artificial Intelligence, data-driven machine learning, and cybersecurity.
- Develop and test countermeasures against ransomware and other cybersecurity threats.
- Analyze datasets to identify vulnerabilities and improve system defenses.
- Contribute to the creation of academic papers, reports, and presentations based on research outcomes.
Position 3: Biomedical Instrumentation and Experimentation Assistant
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Mary Phillips Ho Responsibilities:
- Participate in experimental work with electrolytic electroporation and pulsed electric field technologies.
- Design and build biomedical instrumentation for cancer treatment, atrial fibrillation, and skin lesion applications.
- Perform hands-on lab work, including testing and optimizing biomedical devices.
- Document experimental processes and results for analysis and potential publication
Common Responsibilities Across All Positions:
- Attend regular meetings with faculty advisors to discuss progress and next steps.
- Maintain detailed records of research activities and findings.
- Uphold ethical research standards and follow safety protocols in the lab.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve research objectives.
