Responsibilities: |
- Assist with day-to-day production responsibilities (Brainstorm & Produce social video content ~70%, On-Camera ~15%, Administrative ~10%, Write Scripts ~5%)
- Brainstorm, execute and help distribute social video content to be distributed via TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
- Act as a brand ambassador to the university
- Present and perform information in a light, fun, entertaining, and authentic manor on-camera or through audio recordings.
- Strong storytelling and editing skills.
- Ability to take feedback with a desire and passion to learn and improve.
- Self-motivated and eager to take an idea or task and run with it.
- Excellent communicator
- Strong time management skills
- Thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds
- Write scripts, outlines, and co-produce show rundowns
- Host branded segments and events
- Memorize lines on short notice
- May have to wear mascot outfit for video content
- Data entry, transcription, and media production support
- Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications: |

- Ability to take feedback with a desire and passion to learn and improve.
- Stays up to date with the latest social media trends
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience or comfort with being on-camera
- Excellent communicator
- Strong time management skills
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to carry 50 lbs

Hours of Position: |
- At least 10 hours a week scheduled per week (up to 15 hours a week for undergraduate students or 20 hours a week for graduate students)
- Some nights and weekends
|
