Responsibilities: |
- Serving as on-site support for external events; evening and weekend availability required
- Processing incoming event requests and keeping up to date records of their logistics
- Working with university partners to place event orders on behalf of external clients
- Light lifting for event setups where applicable
- Event registration setup, reporting and maintenance
- Conference packet assembly, name tag creation, sign creation
- Creation of event surveys and analysis of results; compiling testimonials
- Internet research and reporting
- Data creation, reporting and analysis of event booking and attendance
- Guest services in person, by phone or email
- Creating marketing materials using creative tools such as Canva
- Assisting with internal University Events as needed
- Other projects as assigned

Qualifications: |
- Quick learner who can be proactive and resourceful
- Experience independently working with customers and/or clients
- Interest in and ability to learn new programs and event software
- Must have problem-solving experience and ability
- Solid written communication and interpersonal skills necessary
- Creative design skills using software such as Canva
- Ambitious and positive attitude; works well as a member of a team

Hours of Position: |
In-office hours will fall Monday-Friday between 8-5pm and often include some nights and weekends for event coverage.
