Responsibilities: |
- Maintain a working knowledge of Office of Inclusive Excellence activities that enables accurate connecting of community members to the appropriate office services, resources, and staff members.
- Monitor and respond to office communications – including e-mail and telephone – in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide administrative support to graduate assistants and professional staff.
- Assist with the preparation of community and office documents, presentations, and event materials.
- Maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support office operations

Qualifications: |
- Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
- Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Quinnipiac-related technologies (i.e. MyQ, SharePoint, website).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preference for prior participation in an Office of Inclusive Excellence program (i.e. Bobcat Academy, First Year Immersion, QU Enriching Student Transitions, Sawhney Leadership Program)

Hours of Position: |
- Up to 10hrs per week
- As determined between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
