An NIH funded postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jeffrey Amack to investigate biophysical mechanisms of tissue morphogenesis. This is a multidisciplinary project that brings together mathematical modeling of mechanical properties of tissues with experimental in vivo cell biology in living zebrafish embryos. The successful candidate will use expertise in biology and physics to design and conduct experiments, interpret data, prepare manuscripts, and present results at national and international meetings.
A PHD in Biology, Physics, or related field.
Previous research experience in both physics and biology.
Monday-Friday with some nights and weekends
