Job Summary: |
Under the direction of the Program Director, responsible for managing the daily administrative activities of the department's residency/fellowship program.
In addition, this position is responsible for the direct supervision of the administrative and professional responsibilities for the program's residents-in-training on a daily basis, and serves as the primary liaison between the Program Director, chief residents, residents, department faculty, GME Office, and affiliated teaching sites concerning residency program matters.
When necessary, facilitates outpatient services as the primary point of contact for patients and referring providers. Implements policies and procedures and manages the daily operational activities. Maintain and coordinate outpatient scheduling for all providers along with maintaining templates in EPIC.
Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work in diverse environments with people of different backgrounds. Must be a strong communicator and able to develop an effective partnership with providers, staff and all stakeholders, regardless of their cultural, ethnic, and racial backgrounds.
