| Job Summary: |
Surgical Charge Posting Specialist works closely with the surgery and daily charge coding teams. Responsible for manual entry of all surgical charges. Assists with carrier verification and filling as needed. Provides backup to the Surgical Billing Float position as needed. Will learn daily/radiology charges to provide backup to the daily charge posting team. Assists in answer phones and collecting patient payments. Various other duties as assigned |
| Minimum Qualifications: |
Associates Degree and 3 years current relevant Medical Office experience required. CPC or CPC-A Certification required. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
