Job/Department Summary:

Working independently, under general direction of the Director, incumbent performs a wide-range of administrative support functions for the Career Center and Student Employment Office. Duties include coordinating the general day-to-day clerical operations for the department, and using independent judgment to interpret and apply department, campus and university policies, procedures, and guidelines, to prepare financial reports, monitor budgets, coordinate events and marketing activities, as well perform human resources functions.

Required Education and Experience:

This position requires a fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices, as well as an ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures. These qualifications, and those listed above, would normally be obtained through completion of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with three years of related office work experience.

Time Base: Full-time- 1.0

Pay Plan: 12/12

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer - Mon-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm. 

Salary and Benefits Information:

$3,505 - $5,508 per month / $42,060 - $66,096 annually (Initial placement within the salary range for new employees is contingent upon education and experience).

This position qualifies for benefits including tuition fee waiver (if eligible).
