ATRC Support Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator I) Chico
The Support Coordinator performs duties under general supervision, but works independently to provide essential front line administrative support at the Agriculture Teaching and Research Center (ATRC) commonly referred to as the University Farm in collaboration with the Farm AA/S and ASC I. This is a busy office that provides daily assistance to faculty, students and the community. Duties include accounts payable/receivable and budget support, cash and deposit processing, general administrative and event support, student payroll processing, and backup support for the AA/S and the ASC I.
Advancement Project Specialist (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Exempt I) Chico
Under the general direction of the Associate VP for University Advancement, this position is responsible for creating and and executing a wide variety of projects, events and ongoing processes that support the fundraising and overall missions of University Advancement. These responsibilities include the independent oversight and management of the University Foundation Board of Governors as an entity and by assisting individual board member needs. Responsibilities include agenda preparation, research and data analysis for board members, and policy and procedure research analysis and implementation. In support of donor cultivation and stewardship, analyze policies and procedures to recommend state-of-the-art donor event strategies to strengthen long-term relationships; research venues, plan, manage,and fully execute cultivation events, both in-state and out-of-state; prepare written summaries that serve as background for executive meetings. Provide oversight and coordination of division-wide projects that enhance and support the administration of the division's various responsibilities, including human resources, budget and finance, and administration. This position operates in a collaborative environment and must possess the skills to work closely with a variety of groups and individuals. Knowledge of methods and techniques of effective project management is preferred. The scope of duties are varied and multifaceted and require independent execution therefore attention to detail is essential.
Residence Conduct Coordinator (Student Services Professional III) Chico
The Residence Conduct Coordinator (RCC) staff are responsible for the daily functions of a student conduct curriculum and policy accountability. RCCs will meet with students who have violated a University Housing policy outlined in the "University Housing Policy Guide." Day-to-day work is performed independently, however incumbent also serves as a member of the Residence Life team comprised of the Associate Director for Residence Life, five Residence Conduct Coordinators (RCC), five Residence Life Coordinators (RLC), the Senior Coordinator for Leadership and Development, Senior Coordinator for Conduct and Compliance, and Hub Program Coordinator. CSU, Chico has an on-campus student housing population of 2,400. The RCC's primary responsibility is adjudicating conduct cases; additionally they provide conduct related programming, customer service, resource referrals, and crisis response. Incumbents deal with complex, sensitive situations, and must use sound professional judgment and successful counseling techniques to effectively interact with college students. This position also co-supervises 6-18 Resident Advisors. This is a live-in position that emphasizes student development as well as community management. The Residence Life staff is on-call 24 hours a day, however, actual working time is varied and flexible and opportunity for adequate time off is available. May include late night, early morning, and weekend commitments as situations dictate/require.
