ADMINISTRATOR II
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Leadership and Strategy:
Collaborates with the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management (AVPEM) to develop and refine comprehensive enrollment marketing and communication strategies aligned with the University's goals and objectives. Leads the development and implementation of inquiry and application generation marketing plans. Conducts and coordinates market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, messaging, and opportunities for enrollment growth. Implements strategies to effectively showcase the University's unique offerings and values during campus visits. Assists with and supports the AVPEM with communication and marketing needs to help demonstrate through reports, visuals, presentations, and other materials, the progress of efforts in the area of Enrollment Management to support enrollment goals for the University.
Collaboration & Team Leadership:
Leads and manages the enrollment marketing and communication team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Oversees the visit experience team which includes all enrollment management events, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective students and their guests. Works closely with admissions, academic departments, and other stakeholders to align marketing and communication strategies with recruitment goals.
Brand Management:
Ensures consistent and compelling brand image and messaging across all enrollment marketing, communication, and visit experience materials. Works closely with the University's Communication & Public Relations team to maintain brand integrity and elevate the institution's reputation and value proposition.
Marketing & Communication:
Oversees the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns and communication initiatives across various platforms, including social media, email, search engine marketing, and other relevant channels. Oversees the development of high-quality print materials, brochures, and other traditional marketing collateral. Manages and monitors performance and trends for communication flows and campaigns deployed through the CRM for all incoming student populations. Oversees the daily management of messages to target populations in the enrollment funnel leveraging multiple channels and evaluating the effectiveness of outreach. Develops and implements communication plans for relevant events, fairs, and conferences to enhance the University's visibility supporting the visit experience and recruitment teams. Responsible for creating written materials on behalf of Enrollment Management that have a broad impact – including letters, web content, newsletters, proposals, and similar materials.
Website Oversight:
Manages and oversees the development and maintenance of the University's prospective student related website elements. Ensures that the website content is current, engaging, and aligned with the University’s overall marketing and communication strategies.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) for enrollment marketing and communication efforts. Utilizes analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns and communication efforts, optimizing strategies for improved outcomes. Prepares comprehensive reports on marketing, communication, and visit experience performance for leadership, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Budget Management:
Develops and manages the enrollment marketing and communication budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum impact.
Performs additional related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a closely related field required; master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Three to five years of proven experience in a leadership role in enrollment marketing and communication within a Higher Education setting required.
Other Knowledge/Skills:
Strong understanding of digital marketing and communication strategies, as well as emerging trends that support recruitment efforts of a diverse population of students and their families. Demonstrated ability to create and implement culturally relevant marketing materials and strategies that resonate with prospective students, families, and influencers. Strong experience and knowledge in enrollment management, digital marketing, communication and social media, business process development and execution, as well as the functionality and use of admission CRMs. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with CRM/database systems, preferably Slate Technolutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, organized, and willing to work both independently and as part of a team in supporting the goals of Enrollment Management. Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team. Experience in planning and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with frequent interruptions is required. Excellent problem-solving skills; willingness to adapt to changing expectations and responsibilities. Familiarity with inbound and outbound enrollment marketing and recruitment practices. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong vendor relation skills. Travel for trainings and professional development opportunities required.
Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required with advance notice when possible.

Hiring Range: $10,000 - $10,417 per month
