Salary

Classification Range $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, the studio Manager will:

-Assist with instructional support to students and faculty in open labs and classes
-Assist with studio setup, cleaning, and equipment maintenance
-Assist with studio and remote production
-Assist with equipment check-out, maintenance, and inventory
-Organize and set up control room and production room 
-Assist with the organization and maintenance of the equipment for check-out
-Assist with setting up microphones, recording equipment, and computers

-Assist with capturing and offloading media files

-Assist with the setup of the operation of LED wall and equipment
-Must be able to take direction and take initiative to be a valuable team player, work with students and staff
-Must be available to attend meetings and work weekends as needed
-Maintain production equipment and storage
-Must be able to carry equipment
-Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Required Qualifications

  • Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
  • Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
  • In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
  • Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.

Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act Notification:
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the current Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for viewing at: https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. This report contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains statistics of Clery Act crimes for California State University, Fullerton for the last three (3) calendar years. Paper copies are available upon request at the CSUF Police Department.

 

Notice of Availability of the Annual Fire Safety Report (AFSR)
In addition, pursuant to the Higher Education Opportunity Act, the AFSR is also available at https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. The purpose of this report is to disclose statistics for fires that occurred within California State University, Fullerton housing facilities for the last three (3) calendar years, and to distribute fire safety policies and procedures intended to promote safety on campus. A paper copy of the AFSR is available upon request by contacting the Housing Office located at The Housing & Residential Engagement Main Office.
