Job Summary
Under direct supervision, it is the responsibility of the Titan Communications student assistant Website Coordinator to assist with maintaining campus-wide media visibility throughout the local community and enhance student and community engagement.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: -Familiar with WordPress: theme customization, basic HTML & CSS editing, plugins, and general blogging/vlogging techniques -Familiar with Adobe: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator -News Writing, Marketing, Planning, and Promotions skills are beneficial -Friendly and collaborative personality
DUTIES: -Update titanuniverse.org under the direction of the Titan Comm Marketing & Social Media Manager (MSMM) -Assist Titan Communications with marketing and promotion of all major TV Shows, Radio events, student recruitment, and the auditioning process throughout each semester - Assist with marketing communication plans, including, but not limited to, direct mail, web promotions, print & TV production - Assist respective manager(s) with consumer message and direction - Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies - Post-Campaign, report on the program's implementation history, success and recommendations - Ability to handle a multitude of details and work with metrics and analytics - Ability to work well with others - Ability to organize work for numerous projects - Ability to schedule work for others and meet deadlines - Team-Oriented - Other duties as assigned
GOALS: Increase in overall campus-wide visibility and engagement with Titan Universe, Titan TV, & Titan Radio
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
Required Qualifications
Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
