Job Summary

Under direct supervision, the Marketing and Promotions Director Student Assistant will assist with maintaining station visibility throughout the community, and assist with implementing programs to enhance station funding.

Duties:
Assist with relationships with station sponsors and partners
Collaborate with on-campus organizations (clubs, cultural events, etc.)
Assist Director with Identifying new underwriting partners to increase station revenue
Assist with our volunteer-based Street Team for guerilla marketing opportunities
Learn and assist with marketing communication plans, including, but not limited to, web promotions, print & radio production, and email campaigns
Select and distribute concert and sports ticket giveaway opportunities to DJs and social media outlets
Assist with new ideas to promote the station (stickers, t-shirts, etc.)
Assist with developing visual promotions using Adobe products and Canva
Assist in the development and execution of event marketing strategies
Assist other Titan Radio staff as needed
Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
Excellent standards for writing, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading
Ability to market oneself and upkeep relationships to assist station funding
Understanding of concert/music industry
Knowledge of relevant skills in public relations, marketing, sponsorship, advertising
Ability to multitask
Team player
Interpersonal and time management skills
Ability to organize work for several projects
Ability to meet deadlines

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Required Qualifications

  • Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
  • Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
  • In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
  • Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.

Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act Notification:
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the current Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for viewing at: https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. This report contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains statistics of Clery Act crimes for California State University, Fullerton for the last three (3) calendar years. Paper copies are available upon request at the CSUF Police Department.

 

Notice of Availability of the Annual Fire Safety Report (AFSR)
In addition, pursuant to the Higher Education Opportunity Act, the AFSR is also available at https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. The purpose of this report is to disclose statistics for fires that occurred within California State University, Fullerton housing facilities for the last three (3) calendar years, and to distribute fire safety policies and procedures intended to promote safety on campus. A paper copy of the AFSR is available upon request by contacting the Housing Office located at The Housing & Residential Engagement Main Office.
