Job Summary
The Department of Communications and the College of Communications are looking for two graduate students to assist staff with developing communications materials to enhance external communications, student recruitment, and alumni outreach for the 2024-2025 academic year. One student assistant will be assigned to cover Department of Communications, while the other will cover the College Communications and its individual departments.
Duties will include: -Create content for print, web, and social media projects -Write and post stories and take photos for websites and newsletters -Take photos and videos at special events -Organize and collect media (photos, videos, archival materials) -Assist in Interviews, gather, compile, and present data on a alumni, employers, and programs -Assist in development-related projects -Other clerical support duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- Hard Working / positive attitude - Able to work up to 20 hours per week as needed. - Must be available during hours of 9-5 pm, Monday-Friday (with some evening or weekend hours for special events)
Required Qualification
-CSUF graduate student with expertise/interest in communications/public relations/advertising/marketing/graphic design.
-Experience with social media marketing, content creation, and posting. -Experience with website marketing, content creation and assisting as needed. -Experience with design for print, email, social media, and the web. -Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills. -Able to work up to 20 hours per week as needed, including some evenings and rare weekend events.
