About the Position:

Our highly qualified team of professionals is focused on providing human resource services and supports the University's goal to recruit and retain a high-quality and diverse faculty and staff. We seek an exceptional individual to join our Talent Acquisition team as the Talent Acquisition Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist - Non-Exempt). The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.
Under general supervision, the Talent Acquisition Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Non-Exempt) is responsible for providing specialized administrative and analytical support for the Talent Acquisition team. Provides expertise and problem-solving to the campus community and end users for CHRS. Analyzes and reviews data of job positions prior to being posted, ensuring compliance with campus policies and applicable collective bargaining agreements. Facilitates all job posting announcements and updates staff and management positions on external job boards on a weekly basis. Facilitates the hiring of temporary/emergency hire employees for the campus. Responsible for the pre-onboarding and onboarding of new employees. Plans and facilities New Employee Orientation. Provides analytical and project support as needed. Responsible for handling multiple work unit priorities with accountability for work results. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications
|
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or the equivalent training and administrative work experience involving the study, analysis, evaluation, development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs. Working knowledge of the general practices, program or administrative specialty. Basic knowledge of and the ability to apply fundamental concepts. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures. Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit or administrative specialty. Knowledge of and the ability to apply basic methods and procedures used for research and statistical analysis. Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques. Ability to make independent decisions, exercise sound Judgment, handle multiple priorities, and organize and plan work assignments. Ability to compile, write, and present reports related to program or administrative specialty. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Possession of excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to handle multiple clerical/administrative projects simultaneously in a demanding environment. Proficiency using a PC and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications
|
Experience with CHRS Recruiting (PageUp) and PeopleSoft. Prior work experience in a Human Resources department including employment, benefits, labor relations, and collective bargaining agreements. Demonstrated experience in working with sensitive and/or confidential information. General knowledge of employment laws, recruitment processes, and automated recruitment systems. Comprehensive knowledge of CSU HR policies and procedures. Experience with hosting New Employee Orientation or employee programs. Strong technical analytical skills. Experience in excel and familiarity with project management.
