Job Summary

The Graphic Design Student Assistant will provide support to the TitanHEALTH Marketing, Outreach, and Design team. Responsible for various work assignments including graphic design, photography, copy writing/editing, branding standards, social media, marketing, and promotional item production. Other duties as assigned. Multiple positions may be hired from this recruitment based on the strength of the applicant pool.

• Develop print and digital promotional materials, including social media posts, videos, flyers, brochures, posters, etc.
• 1+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite, and graphic design software.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and/or animation using Adobe After Effects.
• Knowledge of social media programs including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Spotify.
• Familiarity with graphic design fundamentals: typographic hierarchy, composition, framing, layout, color theory.
• Ability to reformat designs for campaigns across print and digital marketing channels.
• Major in Graphic Design/Interactive Design/Animation or relevant arts major strongly preferred
• Participate in bi-weekly meetings and continuing job-related and pre-professional development trainings, as scheduled.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrates good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Represent TitanHEALTH and MOD at general outreach events.
• Assist in general TitanHEALTH and MOD departmental needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Required Qualifications

  • Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
  • Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
  • In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
  • Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.

Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act Notification:
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the current Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for viewing at: https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. This report contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains statistics of Clery Act crimes for California State University, Fullerton for the last three (3) calendar years. Paper copies are available upon request at the CSUF Police Department.

 

Notice of Availability of the Annual Fire Safety Report (AFSR)
In addition, pursuant to the Higher Education Opportunity Act, the AFSR is also available at https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. The purpose of this report is to disclose statistics for fires that occurred within California State University, Fullerton housing facilities for the last three (3) calendar years, and to distribute fire safety policies and procedures intended to promote safety on campus. A paper copy of the AFSR is available upon request by contacting the Housing Office located at The Housing & Residential Engagement Main Office.
