University Learning Center Instructional Student Assistant Pool
POSITION
The University Learning Center at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Instructional Student Assistant Pool. These positions are for Tutors.
We welcome applications from current CSUF undergraduate students in various departments to tutor 100 and 200 level high-impact, bottleneck General Education courses.
This is a pool of Instructional Student Assistants for the department to draw on as necessary.

COMPENSATION
All Instructional Student Assistant appointments are made under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the United Auto Workers. Initial appointments are for one semester only.
Classification Range: $17.86 - $23.84 per hourAnticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $23.84
ABOUT THE CENTER
The University Learning Center (ULC) believes that all learners need support that extends beyond the classroom to reinforce and amplify daily lessons. Research shows that students who engage in tutoring, and attend study groups, achieve higher grades than those who do not. Our focus is the undergraduate 100 & 200 level high-impact, bottleneck General Education courses.

The person holding this position is considered a ‘mandated reporter’ under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083, revised July 21, 2017, as a condition of employment.

Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act Notification: Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the current Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for viewing at: https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. This report contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains statistics of Clery Act crimes for California State University, Fullerton for the last three (3) calendar years. Paper copies are available upon request at the CSUF Police Department.
Notice of Availability of the Annual Fire Safety Report (AFSR) In addition, pursuant to the Higher Education Opportunity Act, the AFSR is also available at https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. The purpose of this report is to disclose statistics for fires that occurred within California State University, Fullerton housing facilities for the last three (3) calendar years, and to distribute fire safety policies and procedures intended to promote safety on campus. A paper copy of the AFSR is available upon request by contacting the Housing Office located at The Housing & Residential Engagement Main Office.
