Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
• Basic familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
• Comfortable using video editing features and supporting apps (e.g., CapCut,
iMovie, Canva Video, or similar tools)
• Basic understanding of graphic design principles and/or willingness to learn
design software
• Strong written communication skills with attention to grammar and detail
• Creative mindset with an eye for visual content and storytelling
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple small projects
• Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading abilities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with various departments
• Current enrollment in business, marketing, communications, or related program
preferred
• Interest in digital marketing and content creation
• Previous experience with content creation (personal social media, class projects,
etc.) helpful but not required
• Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
