Job Summary
Reporting to the University Controller & Foundation Treasurer and Under the day-to-day supervision of the Executive Director of University Budget and Fiscal Planning, the Administrative Support Coordinator provides administrative support for two separate departments. The University Controller oversees the fiscal areas of the Administration and Finance Division, including Student Accounts, University Accounting and Reporting, University Campus Programs, and the University Cashier's Office. University Budget and Fiscal Planning is responsible for all aspects of the campus budget planning, development, administration and reporting of funds appropriated for Cal Poly. is the mission and success of both departments is achieved through strong partnerships with the campus. It is critical that the Administrative Support Coordinator conveys a positive and professional customer service attitude and utmost professionalism, as this is often the first point of contact for the Finance and University Budget and Fiscal Planning departments.

We also provide analytic, production, and administrative support for Finance PeopleSoft systems and projects (CMS). Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to use standard office equipment including managing a multi-line phone.
- Ability to perform standard business math, such as calculate ratios and percentages, track financial data and make simple projections.
- Demonstrated customer service experience requiring a very high level of diplomacy and professionalism.
- Ability to use tact and diplomacy to effectively handle a broad range of high level and sensitive interpersonal situations with diverse personalities, and to respond appropriately to conflicts and problems.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or its equivalent. Four years of general office support or technical experience. (Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience)

Salary and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Range: $46,376 - $54,624 Per Year
Classification Range: $46,368 - $72,864 Per Year
