Cal Poly Information Technology Services is pleased to announce an excellent opportunity for a Network & Communications Analyst III to join our Operations – Infrastructure Services team as a Wireless Network Engineer. This senior operations role supports Cal Poly’s enterprise campus network, with a particular focus on wireless networking, advanced troubleshooting, lifecycle maintenance, network performance, and operational design. We are looking for an experienced network professional with hands-on experience supporting large-scale enterprise wireless and wired network environments. The position works across technologies including Wi-Fi, routing and switching, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, network monitoring, automation, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. This is an operations-focused engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex network problems, improving reliability and performance, and helping determine how existing technologies, standards, and services can best meet evolving campus needs.
