| The Architectural Engineering Department is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 17, 2026. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring mentor and educator who champions inclusive excellence in teaching, learning, scholarship, professional engagement, and service. Candidate will teach structural engineering courses ranging from first-year undergraduate to master’s level and engage in scholarly activities appropriate to tenure status and rank. This position offers the chance to educate and empower the next generation of structural engineers and work and live on the beautiful central coast of California.
