The College of Education at California State University San Marcos invites applications for instructors to teach HHS: Introduction to Personal Health and Wellness, a 3-unit course offered at High Tech High School (San Marcos, California).  This is a dual enrolled course offered to high school students for college credit.  This course Introduces the basic principles of health and wellness from a holistic perspective to enhance self-awareness and personal wellness behaviors. Subjects covered include mental, emotional, physical and socio-environmental dimensions of health, sexuality and relationships, nutrition and physical fitness, use and abuse of drugs, health care services and current health problems.

Lecturer Pool for Department of Criminal Justice AY 26-27 East Bay
This is a part-time lecturer position in the Department of Criminal Justice (CRJ) for AY 26-27. Lecturer faculty teach lower-division and upper-division courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online platforms. Courses are offered at the Hayward campus, online, and at local high schools and community college locations. The CRJ program curriculum focuses on key areas of the criminal justice system, including crime prevention, corrections, community-based programs, impact of crime, forensic science, victimization, and policing. Minimum requirements are holding an M.A./M.S. in a related field, professional experience, and teaching experience at the university level. A Ph.D. in a related field is preferred.
