Lecturer Faculty Pool in Equity, Leadership Studies, and Instructional Technologies

The Department of Equity, Leadership Studies, and Instructional Technologies at San Francisco State University invites applications for part-time temporary lecturer faculty positions in 2025-2026. Interested candidates are encouraged to learn more about the department at the website https://elsit.sfsu.edu/.

Our department offers graduate and undergraduate courses in the following areas:

Graduate Programs
• MA in Equity and Social Justice Education
• MA in Educational Administration and Leadership + Preliminary Administrative Services Credential
• MA in Instructional Design and Technologies

Undergraduate Areas
• Quantitative Reasoning: ISED 160: Data Analysis in Education
• Instructional Design and Technologies (ITEC)

Qualifications
Required:
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Education, or closely related field.

Preferred:
• Record of teaching contributions in the field of education;
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate inclusion, diversity, and educational equity in teaching;
• Experience working closely with students from historically under-represented communities;

Salary

Lecturer A/2 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $5,507 – $6,677 per month
Lecturer B/3 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,221 – $13,224 per month
Lecturer C/4 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $6,825 – $14,523 per month
Lecturer D/5 Full-Time Equivalent Salary Range: $8,593 – $15,211 per month

Anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience. Most new lecturers are hired at the Lecturer A or B rank.
