Position Summary
The Executive Director of Enrollment Systems, Analytics & Market Intelligence provides strategic and functional leadership for the effective use of enrollment-related systems, data, and market intelligence in support of Sacramento State’s enrollment, retention, and student success goals. This role focuses on translating enrollment management needs into actionable requirements, priorities, and use cases across the student lifecycle, while partnering closely with Information Resources & Technology (IRT) and Institutional Research (IR) to ensure solutions are designed, implemented, and sustained through enterprise platforms and governed data environments.
This position provides enrollment domain leadership for customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities (including Technolutions Slate), business process design and improvement, and market research needs—actively guiding configuration, implementation, and optimization efforts to ensure that systems and workflows effectively support institutional priorities, equity goals, and long-term enrollment sustainability.
The Executive Director serves as a senior thought partner to Enrollment Management and campus leadership by translating enrollment strategy and operational needs into coordinated system, data, and workflow requirements, and by actively collaborating with IRT, IR, and campus governance bodies throughout design, implementation, and optimization efforts. This role supports the prioritization of enhancements, ensures data quality and usability, and promotes responsible, consistent use of enrollment data. The position exercises delegated authority within Enrollment Management while operating within established campus technology, data governance, and security frameworks.
FLSA: Exempt (Not eligible for overtime compensation)

Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weekends as needed.

Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Higher Education Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Ten years of progressive experience leading enterprise systems, analytics, or enrollment technology initiatives in a complex organization.
3. Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM platform and system integrations

15. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

17. Master’s degree in a related field.
18. Experience in higher education enrollment management, admissions, financial aid, or student success operations.
19. Demonstrated expertise in market research, enrollment forecasting, and data-informed strategy.
20. Experience working within shared governance or enterprise IT environments.
