Under the general supervision of the Director of Campus Case Management and the SAFE Place, the Residential Life Case Manager is responsible for the provision of critical support for students experiencing emotional or material challenges that negatively impact their well-being and ability to achieve academic success. The Residential Life Case Manager will provide mental health assessments, crisis management, triage, effective referrals, follow up, tracking, and continuity of care between campus departments and community resources. This position will mainly support students referred to the Residential Life Care Team and the SF State Action Care Team (ACT), but can support students referred by other programs. They will also work to coordinate services and communication with the campus case management team. |

Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Financial Aid Operations, the Financial Aid Business Analyst & State Aid Coordinator is responsible for providing overall support for the PeopleSoft Financial Aid Module. This position works to increase productivity through improving automated practices and boosting system efficiency. This role serves as a lead within the Financial Aid Office to ensure consistent and accurate use of system functionalities. Additionally, this position provides ongoing assessment of complex issues and works to improve functionality of the Financial Aid Office. The Financial Aid Business Analyst & State Aid Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, developing, and providing technical support for business operations and is responsible for administration and reconciliation of all State Grants including but not limited to: Cal Grant, Chaffee Grant, CA National Guard Grant, Child Development Grant, Middle Class Scholarship, and other State Grants as available. As the resident expert of State Aid Administration, this role serves as the subject matter expert of State Aid and will be the primary adviser and communications coordinator to all recipients of financial aid from the California Student Aid Commission. The Coordinator maintains policy documentation and institutional reporting to ensure institutional compliance, and will review eligibility, advise in awarding of allocated funds, and advise internal and external stakeholders of requirements. |

The Orientation Program Coordinator position supports the Director of New Student Orientation and Family Programs in supporting enrollment management goals and objectives by enhancing the experiences of new students at CSUSB. This position involves advising newly admitted students about critical information to aid in the transition into the university. Advising and transition are accomplished by assisting students in understanding academic requirements, registration procedures, and university policies; collaborating with academic departments to ensure new students have access to the resources and support services needed to succeed; designing and implementing orientation programs and activities that foster student engagement and build a sense of community among new students. By applying student development and transition theories, the Orientation Program Coordinator ensures that new students, including first-year and transfer students, receive comprehensive support through Orientation programs. The Orientation Program Coordinator maintains the administrative aspects of these programs and supports the recruitment, training, and supervision of student assistants (Orientation Leaders), ensuring the effective execution of orientation and transition activities. This position plays a vital role in fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for all new students, ensuring they have the tools and resources necessary to thrive at CSUSB. In addition, this position facilitates the Cody the Coyote mascot program. |
