The minimum education requirement for appointment to this position is a terminal degree in sport and exercise psychology or related areas such as sociology of sport and psychosocial aspects of sport. Candidates must have the ability to successfully teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in the sport and exercise social sciences (i.e., sport psychology, sport sociology, exercise psychology, etc.).
