A key aspect of this position is that the faculty member will actively collaborate the SJSU Wildfire Interdisciplinary Research Center (WIRC, https://www.sjsu.edu/wildfire/, a National Science Foundation, Industry-University Cooperative Research Center) to seek funding and conduct research related to wildfire science and management. The center is dedicated to developing strategies/technologies and science-based policies to manage wildfires and to better understand how wildfires will impact people and resources in the future. The Department of Biology at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking part-time Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) applications from qualified individuals for our San Bernardino Campus (SBC) and/or our Palm Desert Campus (PDC). Candidates for this position should be students in good standing at CSUSB and should possess good organizational and communication skills.
