| The Budget and Operations Manager for Administrative Affairs serves as the primary fiscal manager for the Vice President's Office and provides oversight of division-wide financial operations. Reporting to the Vice President for Administration and Finance and the Chief of Staff, this position delivers strategic leadership in budget administration, financial analysis, and position management. Key responsibilities include developing and managing annual budgets and spending plans, preparing multi-year forecasts, and producing financial reports and dashboards using systems such as PeopleSoft Finance, Tableau, and Questica. The role also manages all aspects of position budget administration, including salary and benefit projections, staffing analysis, and position control. In addition, the manager supports divisional operations by contributing to policy and procedure updates, preparing materials for audits, and representing Administrative Affairs on committees and task forces. This position requires a combination of hands-on financial expertise and strategic planning skills to ensure resources are allocated effectively, operations are compliant, and divisional priorities are achieved. |

| Under the general direction of the Associate Director for Admissions, the Residency Coordinator independently leads the University’s residency determination process and oversees the administration of tuition exemption programs, including AB 540, military exemptions, and the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) tuition discount. The incumbent provides in depth guidance to applicants to assist them with residency determinations, student-focused customer service and staff leadership by demonstrating effective listening, availability and timely responses to all inquiries. The Residency Coordinator serves as the campus authority on complex residency and exemption cases, ensures compliance with CSU policy and state law, interprets evolving regulations, and recommends program enhancements. The role includes expert-level advisement to applicants and continuing students, training staff and student assistants, and coordinating with systemwide offices such as the CSU Chancellor’s Office and Office of General Counsel. In collaboration with the leadership team of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment, the incumbent consults on optimizing existing procedures to ensure a smooth experience for incoming students. |
