| Student Health and Counseling Services provides basic medical and mental health care to CSUEB students, and promotes healthy living. We strive to assist students in attaining an optimal state of health, so they may achieve their academic and career goals.
The Pharmacist performs general licensed pharmacist work and abides by professional policies as defined and required by the California Board of Pharmacy. This position functions in accordance with CSU Executive Orders, SHCS policies and procedures, and relevant state and federal laws in providing pharmaceutical services and is responsible for the overall operations of the pharmacy while working independently and taking direction from the Pharmacist-in-Charge.

| Student Health and Counseling Services provides basic, augmented, and preventive healthcare services to CSUEB students in support of the clinic’s mission to help students achieve and maintain optimal health so they may attain their academic and career goals.
Under the supervision of a physician and in accordance with established protocols and approved privileges, the Family Nurse Practitioner evaluates, diagnoses, and treats medical conditions affecting CSUEB students, with an emphasis on preventive and primary care services. The incumbent also provides health education, promotes wellness and disease prevention initiatives, and performs related administrative duties as assigned. In addition, the Family Nurse Practitioner may provide limited employee healthcare services in support of campus health operations.
