Hourly Real Time Captioner POOL (Temporary & Intermittent)	East Bay	March 19, 2024
The purpose of this position is to provide communication access via real-time captioning services for students, faculty, staff and guests of the campus who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing. Services may be required on-site at one of Cal State East Bay’s three campuses: Hayward, Concord, and/or Oakland. Real-time captioning may be needed in academic courses, meetings, office hours, student groups, and/or campus events. This is an hourly, temporary, intermittent position. Work schedules may vary each academic term depending on operational needs. This position may require working some weekend and evening hours as needed.
Hourly Sign Language Interpreter POOL (Temporary & Intermittent)	East Bay	March 19, 2024
The purpose of this position is to provide communication access via sign language interpreting services for students, faculty, staff and guests of the campus who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing. Sign language interpreting services may be needed in academic courses, meetings, office hours, student groups, and/or campus events. These services may be required to be provided remotely or on-site at one of Cal State East Bay’s three campuses: Hayward, Concord, and/or Oakland. This is an hourly, temporary, intermittent position. Work schedules may vary each academic term depending on operational needs. The incumbent may be required to work some weekend and evening hours as needed.
Faculty Lecturer Pool for the Department of Communication AY 24-25	East Bay	March 15, 2024
One or more temporary, part-time lecturers for a pool from which instructors will be considered for appointments in the Department of Communication as they become available for Fall Semester 2024 and Spring Semester 2025.
Lecturer Pool for Department of Public Affairs and Administration AY 24-25	East Bay	March 15, 2024
Lecturers are needed to teach a wide range of Health Care Administration and Public Administration courses. Courses are taught primarily on weeknights and Saturdays. Please note that teaching assignments at California State University, East Bay may include courses at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, and/or online.
