Institute for STEM Education Program Coordinator (Temporary) East Bay
The Institute for STEM Education at CSU East Bay advances STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) teaching and learning in parallel with the rapidly changing knowledge, practices, and needs in STEM fields and disciplines. In addition to preparing students for success in STEM fields and disciplines, the Institute aims to help all students acquire the STEM knowledge required for decision making in their daily lives. This position provides administrative and clerical support for grant-funded programs affiliated with the Institute for STEM Education. Under the general direction of Institute leadership and program coordinators, the incumbent supports program operations, assists with grant-related administrative processes, and performs a variety of financial, communications, and office support tasks to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Physician - Primary Care (10/12 Pay Plan) East Bay
The Physician is an integral part of the Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS). The Physician participates in the daily operational and practical needs of SHCS, primarily performs medical diagnostic and treatment activities, and participates in practitioner peer review staff educational and administrative meetings as needed. The incumbent will also assist SHCS in its on-going preparation for re-accreditation and HIPAA compliance as well as provide health education and participate in teaching activities. The incumbent will have regular contact with blood, blood products and bodily fluids as well as communicable diseases. There may also be some contact with physical and chemical hazardous materials, such as liquid nitrogen, TCA, etc. Routine exposure to needles and sharp objects is to be expected. The incumbent must be able to respond to on-campus medical emergencies which may require walking outdoors several blocks carrying medical equipment or driving a minivan. This position may require occasional coverage at CSU East Bay’s Concord campus. The incumbent must be willing to comply with local and state laws governing CSU practices, be able to perform within the full spectrum of their specialty and comply with rules and regulations presented within their respective department(s).

Graduation Evaluator East Bay
This position specializes in evaluation functions under the general supervision of the University Registrar. This specialization includes performing preliminary graduation evaluations, processing final degree checks for graduating students, and posting degrees in accordance with all relevant policies including CSU and Title V. The position is also responsible for training other evaluators, communicating policies and procedures to various audiences including staff, students, and faculty, and providing course advisement to students.
Student Leadership & Involvement Center (SLIC) Programs Assistant -SSP IB (Temporary) East Bay
Under the general supervision of the Director of Student Leadership and Involvement Center and the close work lead direction of the Orientation Coordinator (SSP III), the New Student Orientation Program Assistant is responsible for assisting with the University’s year-long onboarding program for incoming students including in-person and virtual components. Duties include assisting with the day-to-day functions connected to New Student Orientation functions; assisting with updating publications and marketing materials (web/hard-copy); assisting with the scheduling of orientation facilities and logistics; and providing added support to the Orientation Team leaders. In addition, as a member of the department, the Orientation Program Assistant will provide administrative support to department programs and initiatives as needed including the First Year Experience planning group.
