This position will serve as a Biotech Laboratory Coordinator for the Green Biome Institute (GBI). Established in June 2019, the Institute’s mission is to conserve endangered plants through seed banking, propagation, and thorough genomic analysis. The genomic data collected on these critically endangered plants includes DNA, RNA, small RNA, and associated bacteria, viruses, and fungi and will be made freely available to the public. This position will be responsible for hands-on laboratory work and sequencing, laboratory scheduling and budgeting, and representing the Institute to partner institutions, academic centers, companies, botanical gardens, and conservation centers.
Lead CRM Software Developer (Software Developer IV) - San Francisco Bay Region Network	East Bay	September 25, 2026
Reporting to and with minimal supervision from the Senior Director of ERP Applications and Business Intelligence, the Lead CRM Software Developer provides technical leadership for the development, deployment, and optimization of customer relationship management (CRM) applications across California State University East Bay (CSUEB), San Francisco State University (SFSU), Sonoma State University (SSU), and their auxiliaries. The position leads a team of developers and application administrators, oversees all project phases from requirements to deployment, ensures code quality and compliance, and supports integration with other enterprise systems. The lead collaborates with campus partners and stakeholders to maximize CRM strategic value.
Transfer Admissions Counselor- SSP II	East Bay	September 22, 2026
The Office of Admissions is looking for an independent, detail-oriented, quick-learning and professional individual to be part of our Transfer Admissions team. Under the general supervision of the Director of Admission and supervising Associate Director, the Transfer Admission Counselor coordinates the processing, evaluation, and advising of applicants for assigned groups. The counselor must follow a wide and complex range of relevant policies when making final admissions decisions. This position is also responsible for advising on Admission requirements, policies and procedures to various audiences including prospective students/applicants, faculty and staff. Working with other East Bay offices, the counselors also participate in the campus-wide effort to recruit prospective students as well as support the transition of admitted applicants to enrolled students.
Health Educator	East Bay	September 10, 2026
Under the supervision of the AVP/Dean of Students and work lead direction of the Wellness Services Coordinator the Health Educator engages the campus community in evidence-based approaches to support student wellness and disseminate data to drive findings of associated programs. This position will coordinate operations for the WellNest including food pantry appointments, operational procedures for food storage, food distribution, providing health resources, and cooking demonstrations. The Health Educator regularly collaborates with university committees to implement strategic initiatives to address the wellbeing needs of students. This position is responsible to assess, design, implement, and evaluate wellbeing programs. Additionally, the Health Educator regularly conducts workshops and outreach events promoting campus resources, as well as implements wellbeing messaging through social marketing approaches. The Health Educator inform wellbeing issues pertinent to a university setting including but not limited to Basic Needs - food & housing security, Alcohol, Tobacco, & Other Drugs (ATOD), Cold/Flu, Nutrition/Fitness, Self-Care, Sexual Health, and Violence Prevention. This position provides guidance for wellbeing campaigns, programs and services offered within the WellNest and Wellness Center. The Health Educator also works closely with campus partners to support promotion of wellness services and leadership development for student assistants.
Admissions Specialist (SSP IB - 2 Positions)	East Bay	September 10, 2026
The Office of Admissions at Cal State East Bay is looking for a detailed oriented, dedicated and collaborative professional to join our fun and cohesive team. The Office of Admissions processes and evaluates applications at the freshman, transfer, and graduate student levels focusing primarily on domestic U.S. residents. The office provides some support for the processing of international applications. The Office works closely with CSUEB staff, faculty, and members of the community-at-large. Admissions staff process applications and related documents, determine residency, render admission decisions, and proactively communicate with students in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.
