Career & Transition Coordinator (Temporary)

| The Think by the Bay Career & Transition Coordinator independently leads the development and implementation of career exploration, employment readiness, and interagency transition planning services for students with intellectual disabilities (ID) enrolled in the Think by the Bay program at CSUEB. The Coordinator develops and expands on-campus and community-based employment partnerships, implements individualized and customized employment strategies, and represents the program in collaboration with external agencies including Local Education Agencies (LEAs), regional centers, and the Department of Rehabilitation. Working in partnership with families, faculty, and staff, the Coordinator ensures coordinated transition planning, alignment with IEP/IPP goals, and measurable employment outcomes that prepare students for meaningful postsecondary employment. |

Research Technician (Temporary, Part-Time, Hourly)

| The research technician will perform experimental procedures in a research laboratory in close coordination with the Principal Investigator. This position is funded by an NIH grant and suitable for candidates with interest or experience in Drosophila behavioral genetics, with a focus on sleep, feeding, and wakefulness. On-the-job training for individuals with a basic scientific background and laboratory skills will be provided. The specialist evaluates transfer applications, coordinates applicant communications through PeopleSoft and Salesforce, and supports outreach activities that encourage enrollment. The role also maintains admissions website content and helps coordinate printed communication materials. Program Coordinator (Temporary)

| The Think by the Bay Program Coordinator works in close partnership with the Program Director to provide leadership, day-to-day coordination, and implementation of CSU East Bay’s inclusive postsecondary education program for students with intellectual disabilities (ID). In collaboration with the Program Director, the Coordinator supports the overall success of the program by working closely with lead program faculty and other part-time staff, providing lead work direction to temporary student support staff, and ensuring strong academic integration and compliance with institutional and grant-related requirements.
While the Program Director serves as the primary liaison between the program and university departments, faculty, families, and community partners, the coordinator helps sustain effective communication, coordination, and daily operations across all areas of the program. This role is integral to advancing Think by the Bay’s mission of delivering high-quality, inclusive academic, social, and career development opportunities for students. |

Grants Coordinator (Temporary)

| The position is responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking deliverables and timelines, compiling and analyzing information, maintaining official documentation, and facilitating communication among diverse stakeholders. The incumbent exercises independent judgment in prioritizing assignments, interpreting policies and procedures, resolving administrative issues, and recommending process improvements to support operational effectiveness.
Serving as a central point of coordination, the Grants Coordinator collaborates with campus partners -including Facilities, academic departments, and Academic Affairs offices - and engages external stakeholders as appropriate to support advising initiatives and transfer pathway publishing. The role requires strong organizational skills, analytical ability, discretion, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. |
