Social Work Administrative Support Coordinator East Bay
Join a dynamic academic department as the Administrative Support Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in supporting 25–30 faculty and staff, as well as hundreds of students in our undergraduate and graduate programs. Based on our Hayward campus, this primarily in-person position manages daily operations, ensures compliance with university and accreditation standards, and helps keep the department running smoothly. You'll also collaborate across campus and provide occasional backup support to related departments. Ideal candidates are highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn university systems in areas such as budgeting, accounting, and academic administration. Some evening or weekend work may be required for special events.
Assistant to the Dean East Bay
This position provides general office, clerical, and administrative support to the Office of the Dean, College of Health. The primary purpose of this position is to lead the office staff and assist with creation of course schedules for college programs, provide lead work direction to student employees, manage the calendar for the Dean/Associate Dean. The position is also responsible for implementing departmental goals and objectives and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, university policies, and established office procedures. This role requires a thorough understanding of applicable policies and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences seeks part-time lecturers for a pool from which instructors will be considered for teaching appointments as they become available for Fall Semester 2025, and Spring Semester, 2026. The Department offers a Bachelor of Science degree and an accredited Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and/or Audiology. Assignments might include teaching one or more basic and advanced course(s) for undergraduate and graduate students. There are approximately 200 majors and five regular faculty.
Assistive Technology Coordinator East Bay
Under the direction of the Accessibility Services Director, the Assistive Technology Coordinator oversees Assistive Technology services for students receiving support through Accessibility Services. This includes, but is not limited to: conducting assessments for students with disabilities and their need for assistive technology, determining best options for students from low-tech solutions to high-tech solutions, and training students on the use of such assistive technology. This position may provide assessments and training for staff and faculty with disabilities in conjunction with the department of Human Resources.
