| The successful candidate will teach up to 15 contact hours per week in undergraduate laboratories and/or lectures, with assignments being consistent with the candidate’s expertise and training, as well as the specific needs of the Department. Most of our instructional needs will be in introductory chemistry courses. In addition to classroom teaching, the candidate will be expected to hold office hours for students and perform the other normal duties associated with teaching. M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry, applicants with degrees in related fields to chemistry will be considered if they have a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in chemistry or biochemistry. |

Minimum requirement: Ph.D. in Psychology (or related field) or enrollment in a Ph.D. program with sufficient progress towards the degree is preferred. Candidates who possess a Master’s degree and teaching experience in an appropriate field will be considered.
Teaching assigned classes in psychology. Preparing syllabi and other course materials, planning class sessions and out-of-class activities, communicating with students and helping them with class material as appropriate, and holding regular office hours. Custodial Coordinator (Administrative Analyst Exempt I)

| California State University, East Bay is seeking a Custodial Coordinator to support daily custodial operations and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming campus environment. Reporting to Facilities Development & Operations, this position plays a key role in coordinating custodial services across academic, administrative, housing, and event spaces.
The Custodial Coordinator assists with scheduling, work assignments, quality control inspections, and staff coordination across multiple shifts. This role supports compliance with CSU standards, health and safety regulations, and sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction and recycling programs. The coordinator also works closely with supervisors, Facilities Work Control, and campus partners to respond to service requests, special events, and operational needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial operations, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse campus environment. Familiarity with work order systems, union environments, and customer service best practices is highly desirable. The ability to lead by example, support staff, and maintain consistent service levels is essential. This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the campus community while supporting a collaborative Facilities team dedicated to operational excellence. |
