Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology (Marriage and Family Therapy)	East Bay	July 28, 2025
The Department of Educational Psychology is seeking a tenure-track full-time faculty member with specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy to teach classes in and support operations of our Marriage and Family Therapy Program. This remarkable position requires the following: teaching professional and academic courses; supervising and mentoring Marriage and Family Therapists- in-training; supporting program operations; supporting ongoing data collection, program evaluation, and program improvement and recruitment in keeping with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) standards/rules and regulations; conducting and submitting research to journals; and engaging in community service. This full-time faculty position may include serving as Coordinator of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program.
Head Athletic Trainer	East Bay	July 17, 2025
Under the general supervision of the Director of Athletics, the Head Athletic Trainer is responsible for the development, organization, and administration of the sports medicine program, including providing work direction to other athletic trainers, including assigning, monitoring and evaluating work; developing and monitoring the program budget, and maintaining and monitoring the medical records and progress of all student athletes. When injuries do occur, the Head Athletic Trainer serves as a first responder by recognizing and evaluating the injuries, and subsequently developing treatment and rehabilitation programs, incorporating the appropriate therapeutic modalities and use of rehabilitation and exercise equipment. Due to the nature of the work, the individual must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, as well as, be available to travel with teams.
Hourly Real Time Captioner POOL (Temporary & Intermittent)	East Bay	July 10, 2025
The purpose of this position is to provide communication access via real-time captioning services for students, faculty, staff and guests of the campus who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing. Services may be required on-site at one of Cal State East Bay’s three campuses: Hayward, Concord, and/or Oakland. Real-time captioning may be needed in academic courses, meetings, office hours, student groups, and/or campus events. This is an hourly, temporary, intermittent position. Work schedules may vary each academic term depending on operational needs. This position may require working some weekend and evening hours as needed.
Lecturer Pool for Department of Writing, Languages, and Literatures (WLL), AY 2025-2026	East Bay	July 10, 2025
