The office of Central Development is dedicated to increasing community, tradition, and contributions to the University by working together with the campus community. We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Annual Campaigns Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator I). Provides comprehensive project and administrative coordination for the Annual Campaigns and Stewardship team. Reporting to the Senior Director and/or Director, the Annual Campaigns Coordinator coordinates internal and external outreach to ensure the effectiveness of annual campaigns efforts, including donor relations and stewardship for the university. Additionally, assists with the coordination of programs and events designed for the families of incoming and current students. This critical position serves as an important liaison between the division of University Advancement and the colleges, campus programs and the university’s key constituents. Duties include but are not limited to basic clerical functions, project and event coordination, gathering and reporting data, donor communication, outreach and stewardship.

The Annual Campaigns Coordinator is responsible for providing general office support to students, faculty, staff, and community members. Plans, initiates, executes, and coordinates projects, activities, and events with accountability for results. Maintains files, processes documents and records, gathers data, and interacts with and solves problems for donors, parents/families and staff. Uses customer service and problem-solving skills to respond via email, telephone, and in person. Uses a variety of office support technology and systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Dropbox, Teams and project management software to complete assignments. Coordinates and schedules meetings and events as needed. Addresses a wide range of unit problems which require interpreting policies and procedures and using ingenuity to put information together in new ways. Coordinates and works with individuals at all levels within the organization. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

High School diploma or the equivalent and four years of progressively responsible experience in general office, clerical or secretarial work or the equivalent. Thorough, detailed knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Thorough knowledge of office systems with the ability to use a range of technology, systems and software packages. Ability to independently handle multiple work unit priorities and projects. Ability to apply a variety of policies and procedures where specific guidelines may not exist. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures. Ability to perform standard business math including calculating ratios and percentages, tracking financial data, and making simple projections. Ability to draft and compose correspondence and standard reports. Ability to handle effectively a broad range of interpersonal contacts including those at a higher level and those sensitive in nature.

A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to complete the background check satisfactorily may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.  

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with donors. Experience in higher education or non-profit setting. Bilingual (English/Spanish).

License/Certifications

A Valid California driver's license.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the current Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for viewing at: https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. This report contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains statistics of Clery Act crimes for California State University, Fullerton for the last three (3) calendar years. Paper copies are available upon request at the CSUF Police Department.

 

Notice of Availability of the Annual Fire Safety Report (AFSR)
In addition, pursuant to the Higher Education Opportunity Act, the AFSR is also available at https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. The purpose of this report is to disclose statistics for fires that occurred within California State University, Fullerton housing facilities for the last three (3) calendar years, and to distribute fire safety policies and procedures intended to promote safety on campus.
