Job Summary: The Student Assistant for Clubs & Organizations plays a key role in supporting the operations and services provided to over 500 Recognized Student Organizations at Cal Poly. This is a front-facing, service-oriented position that requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and a willingness to assist with a wide range of administrative tasks.

Job Duties:
- Process club event scheduling requests using 25Live and Cal Poly Now.
- Provide general support and resources to student organization leaders and members.
- Deliver professional customer service via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Assist with office tasks and special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable using digital platforms and learning new software (training provided).
- Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be a currently enrolled Cal Poly student in good academic standing.

Integration:
Effective July 1, 2025, the California State University Maritime Academy integrated with California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, forming one academic institution operated as California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. All employment positions previously associated with California State University Maritime Academy have transitioned to California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
