Empowering Families, Ending Violence and Developing Leader
Will assist the organization in the development and implementation of addiction services to victims of crime.
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned):
1) In collaboration with the Executive Director, Clinical Director and Clinical Program Manager will evaluate current operational model and develop a detailed step-wise plan to implement addiction services at the organization 2) Supervisor LCSW/LMFT Counselor with addiction experience in the provision of trauma addiction services in the implementation of intake assessment, case management and direct intervention 3)Participate in training presenting to staff and volunteers during onboarding process.
Minimum of 2 years experience providing addiction treatment services to individuals who have experienced interpersonal trauma. Is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Ideally, has completed the CAADE’s Addiction Counselor Certificate or the APA Certificate of Proficiency in the Treatement of Alcohol and Psychoative Substance Use Disorders.
Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities: Experience with project design and implementation. Evidence-based training: Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Seeking Safety. Working knowledge of the intersection between interpersonal trauma and addiction, with specialized skills in the treatment of clients and supervision of counselors. Possess excellent listening and communications skills, working with a diverse multidisciplinary team. Strong evaluation, analysis and critical thinking skills. Must demonstrate an acceptance and respect for cultural diversity in all its forms, including ethnicity and sexual orientation.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC). Part Time - 20 hours a week.
The anticipated hiring range: $120 per hour
THE SELECTED CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO PASS A THOROUGH DEPARTMENT (BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION AND LIVE SCAN).
Per CSUN/TUC Mandate, the candidate will be required to show proof of COVID 19 vaccination including booster.
