Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Research Fellow’s primary role is to conduct research, disseminate research findings, the author grants with PIs and work with the PI team to institutionalize BUILD-related programs. To this end, the fellow must be able to: conduct literature reviews; develop, implement, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research results; prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals; prepare and co-author proposals, reports, and presentations; collaborate with faculty and administrators to institutionalization equitable student research training; develop and/or assess online training modules; and contribute to the design and implementation of programs to promote equity.

 

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in STEM, STEM Education, or a related field.

 

Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:

Experience in working with diverse undergraduate student populations; experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods; ability to communicate effectively through both oral and written channels; strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills; familiarity with online learning; demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy, and discretion in dealing with administrators, faculty, staff, and students; work independently as well as function effectively in a team and in a diverse setting; exercise independent judgment in complex, new, and/or stressful situations; manage multiple, concurrent projects, and meet deadlines; adaptability and flexibility.

 

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am- 5 pm

Full Pay Range: $32,244.00- $201,276.00 annually

The anticipated hiring range: $65,000- $75,000

Time Base: Full-Time
