Duties and Responsibilities:

This role will coordinate day-to-day grant-related project activities. The goal of iPump, research project, is to test the efficacy of utilizing augmented reality while expressing breast milk with an electronic breast pump. This person will work closely with the Project Director and research assistants to carry out the specifics of the grant.

 

Qualifications:

Upper-level undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelors (preferred: Bachelor of science in Public Health or Health-related field) or equivalent experience; must be okay with handling potentially hazardous liquids (i.e., human breast milk and saliva) while wearing personal protective equipment. 1 year working in a related field  (education and training can replace 1 year work experience)

 

Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; leadership; organization and task management effectively, computers and data entry (Microsoft Office Suite; SPSS); problem-solving; positive attitude; compassionate, interacting with student research assistants

 

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

Schedule: Varies Based on Manager's Need

Full Pay range: $18-$19 per hour

The anticipated hiring range: $18- $19 per hour

Time Base: Part Time

THE SELECTED CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO PASS A THOROUGH DEPARTMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION AND LIVE SCAN. Covid-19 vaccination is required for this role. Fully vaccinated is defined as “a single bivalent vaccine dose or a monovalent booster after a monovalent primary series.”
