Duties and Responsibilities:

Working under the direction of the Director and/or the Principal Investigator, the Data Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our data as well as monitoring our budgets and deliverables for all our grants/contracts. While performing data management tasks, the Data Specialist reviews data for accuracy and completeness. While performing budget and deliverable monitoring, the Data Specialist will enter financial data and activities data, prepare budget revisions, and perform other financial, data, and compliance activities as required. Occasional travel in the area is required.

 

Qualifications:

Financial Tasks

  • These tasks include but are not limited to entering financial data in monitoring tools, review financial statements and prepare budget revisions and cost transfers as necessary

 

Surveying Tasks

  • These tasks include but are not limited to creating and sending surveys to clients who participate in our programs; evaluating survey results.

 

Data Review & Reporting

  • These tasks include but are not limited to reviewing activities data in Salesforce or other tools, running reports, completing required monthly/quarterly/semiannual/annual reports

 

Administrative Responsibilities

  • These tasks include but are not limited to writing reports, emails, attending staff meetings, CNP Lead and CNP Team meetings

 

Professional Development

  • These tasks include but are not limited to attending training sessions

 

Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:

  • Degree or working experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of data collection and quantitative methods/surveying
  • Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively with a variety of people
  • Bilingual desirable.
  • Should be familiar with using Excel, Word, and surveying tools. Salesforce training will be provided. This position is estimated to be approximately 25-27 hours per week. 

 

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).

The anticipated hiring range: $21.31/hr - $24.00/hr

Full Pay range: $21.31/hr - $41.14/hr

Time Base: Part-Time
