Major Duties
Under general supervision, the Specialist is responsible for accurate transaction processing, database management, event registrations, memberships, and data integrity projects. Collaborates effectively across departments to ensure high-quality data standards, precise documentation, and comprehensive compliance with IRS, CASE, and university policies.
- Analyzes and enters all gift and transaction documentation (hard copy and electronic).
- Processes and reviews gift batches, verifying that batch totals, dates, fund designations and appeal codes are correctly applied.
- Oversees the processing of corporate and foundation matching gift payments.
- Coordinates the tracking process for scholarships using Blackbaud’s specialized software platform, Award Management.
- Analyzes and enters all event documentation to ensure complete and accurate data, including registration details, registrant contact information, and other details.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Relevant education and/or experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- Accounting and bookkeeping experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Demonstrated communications and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and potential donors.
- Advanced skills in performing conditional Word merges for acknowledgement letters and receipts.
- Knowledge of credit card and PCI compliance policies, practices and systems.
- Excellent customer service, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Ability to organize and plan work and projects, including handling multiple priorities.
- Accounting and bookkeeping experience preferred.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

- Classification: Advancement Professional I / 0511 / Grade 1
- The anticipated HIRING RATE is $4799. The salary range for this classification is: $4799 - $6992 per month.
- HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday.
- This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
- The position is currently hybrid ( 3 days in office, 2 days remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
