The Community Service Specialist serves as a visible security presence on the campus, and within its buildings as assigned, performs security services such as patrolling campus on foot, bike or vehicle to protect campus community and visitors, provides public safety support and assistance to campus police, enforces campus ordinances and parking regulations, and issues citations to violators. Incumbent also provides information to the University Police Department (UPD) regarding any unusual occurrences and/or activities on and around campus.

Per Diem Nurse Practitioner - (Per Diem Non Exempt Healthcare) - Student Health Services San Francisco
Reporting to the Director of Student Health Services (SHS), the Nurse Practitioner works in the context of a group practice that emphasizes patient engagement over high volume. The incumbent reviews and interprets patient history; performs physical examinations; orders and reviews tests; evaluates, plans, and provides primary care predominantly for college students with common illnesses, injuries, seeking contraceptive care, or needing health maintenance. The incumbent collaborates with and guides the actions of Medical Assistants and Registered Nurses and some ancillary staff. The incumbent consults with other providers (psychiatrists) as needed and when health problems or conditions are not covered by protocols. The Nurse Practitioner enables improvement of both individual and team effectiveness by supporting the development and implementation of sustainable practices and protocols that foster student success and reflect the best of college health.
Nurse Clinic Manager - (Administrator II) - Student Health Services San Francisco
Under the leadership of the Director of the Student Health Services (SHS), the Nurse Clinic Manager is responsible for the care provided to SF State University students by SHS's Registered Nurses and licensed/unlicensed clinical support staff. The Nurse Clinic Manager is responsible for leading the daily and administrative functions in the SHS. Principal responsibilities include operations, managing of staff and resources, facilitating research and education, and maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. The Nurse Clinic Manager establishes quality improvement efforts to support the delivery of patient focused care and knowledge-based decision making as the framework for superior delivery of care. The Nurse Clinic Manager facilitates communication, coordination, and collaboration among the SHS staff regarding identification, planning, and provision of high quality, cost-effective care. The Nurse Clinic Manager is a resource within the SHS and to the SFSU community. The Nurse Clinic Manager is a key member of the SHS Leadership Team. This is an on-site position.
Program Services Operations Coordinator -(Administrative Analyst/ Specialist Non-Exempt) - Disability Programs & Resource Center San Francisco
Under the general supervision of the Director of the Disability Programs & Resource Center (DPRC), the Program Services & Operations Coordinator (POSC – AA/S - Non-Exempt) serves as the DPRC reception lead for analyzing and addressing problems for walk-in, Zoom and phone inquiries; determines immediate need for student and employee appointments and other courses of action; supervises, trains, and manages DPRC reception-area student assistants; and covers the DPRC reception-area during regularly scheduled shifts over peak periods and during student assistant absences. The POSC independently assesses the need for office supplies and other non-IT purchases and works with reporting line to recommend and execute purchases with good fiscal stewardship. Tracks and leads programmatic updates of the myDPRC (AIM) database and coordinates DPRC note taking services. Coordinates the processing and maintenance of confidential student records and supports administrative functions of the DPRC.
