Academic Counselor - (Student Services Professional III) - College Advising	San Francisco	September 11, 2026
The Academic Counselor assists students in exploring, affirming, and declaring into a major, identifying strengths and interests, and overcoming academic and personal challenges. Additionally, the Academic Counselor helps students understand SFSU’s campus policies and procedures and graduation requirements (general education and major/minor). The Academic Counselor is responsible for providing consistent, accurate, complex advising to undergraduate students. Working independently, the Academic Counselor provides individual and group counseling that requires the use of advising and counseling techniques to evaluate students’ academic interests and to facilitate major and career exploration. The Academic Counselor assists students in setting goals to facilitate success, persistence, and timely degree completion. In addition, the incumbent independently leads, develops, plans, implements, and evaluates advising-related projects that support SFSU students.
Enrollment Operations Specialist - (Administrative Analyst/Specialist Exempt I, Range II) - CPAGE Administration	San Francisco	September 10, 2026
The Enrollment Operations Specialist (EOS) performs independent professional analytical work to evaluate, improve, and support Enrollment Services operations. The EOS analyzes enrollment processes and data, identifies operational risks and inefficiencies, develops and implements business process improvements, and applies functional expertise to enrollment operations. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Services, the EOS independently interprets university, CSU, and CPaGE policies and determines their operational application in complex or unique situations. The position develops recommendations for management, exercises independent judgment in resolving operational issues, and leads or contributes to enrollment-related process improvement and system initiatives from planning through implementation and assessment. The position combines analytical responsibility, functional expertise, hands-on enrollment operations, and a strong customer service orientation to ensure accurate, responsive, and compliant enrollment services. The EOS identifies opportunities to improve services and processes and enhance the student experience while maintaining compliance with university, CSU, and regulatory requirements.
Housekeeper- (Custodian, Range 1) - HDCS Housing, Dining and Conference Services	San Francisco	September 10, 2026
Under the general supervision of the Associate Director for Housekeeping Services (or designee), the Housekeeper provides comprehensive custodial services for San Francisco State University Housing facilities and performs lead work direction on an as-needed basis, primarily during peak operational periods such as summer and winter turn, conference season, and large-scale occupancy transitions.
