Administrative Operations Specialist- (Housing Operations Professional II, Range 1) - HDCS Housing, Dining and Conference Services San Francisco
The Administrative Operations Specialist is a key team member that will support the Division of Housing, Dining & Conference Services’ (HDCS) office operation, activities, and special projects. As well as a variety of advanced administrative and project support functions for the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Housing, Dining & Conference Services.
Area Coordinator (Student Services Professional II, Range 1) - Residential Life San Francisco
The Area Coordinator is a full-time, live-in position that assists in the overall design, implementation, and daily administration of the Residential Life program for a specific residential community. Populations of these communities vary and can be in excess of 1200 residents. The Area Coordinator performs a wide variety of generally complex Student Services Professional work in the coordination and implementation of the Residential Education program as well as the overall Residential Life and Housing programs. The incumbent is responsible for the following areas in their specific residential community: case management centering around student behavior, supervision and leadership, community development and student success. In addition the Area Coordinator assists in the overall development and implementation of the Residential Life and Student Housing programs.
Senior Research Associate (Research Technician III, Range I) - Office of Research and Sponsored Programs/Public Health San Francisco
The Research Technician III compiles and interprets statistical data in the investigation of public health issues; technical responsibilities consist of the preparation of detailed plans for study, the preparation of detailed reports on phases of major studies. The RT III recommends, devises and applies procedures for proposed studies; develops and works with the PI and other technical staff on the programming and machine processing of data; analyzes quantitative and qualitative statistical data and prepares interpretative reports and graphic presentation of research material; supervises and assists other technical research staff; initiates or recommends new studies or investigations, additional uses of existing data, modifications of procedures; represents the research staff at meetings and conferences to present research findings, programs and research objectives. Supervisory responsibilities include the direction of student assistants engaged in the compilation and analysis of data.
Painter- (Painter, Range 1) - HDCS Facilities Maintenance San Francisco
Under the direct supervision of the Supervising Painter, it is the primary responsibility of the Painter to perform a full range of skilled work in the painting, finishing and maintaining of a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures on the properties managed by Housing, Dining & Conference Services.
Facilities Carpenter- (Carpenter, Range 1) - HDCS Facilities Maintenance San Francisco
Under general supervision, the Carpenter performs the full range of skilled journey-level carpentry and related work. Incumbents build, remodel, maintain, and repair a variety of structures and facilities, working from blueprints, specifications, drawings, and instructions. Work includes constructing, installing, and repairing woodwork, drywall, ceiling and floor tiles, roofing, cabinets, counters, shelves, partitions, doors, windows, and modular furniture. Carpenters also may instruct and provide lead direction to unskilled and semi-skilled assistants.
