Topics include the basic principles of genetics and inheritance, evolutionary theory, primate biology and behavior, the fossil record of human and nonhuman primates, and contemporary human biological diversity.

The Department of Social Work at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for fall 2026 to teach MSW 540 Field Instruction I. MSW 540 is the first course of a foundation two-semester sequence. Supervised practice in a social services or related agency developing basic micro, mezzo, and macro skills with an emphasis on culturally informed social work practice. Field seminar and 16 hours weekly supervised agency field experience. Graded Credit/ No Credit.
Lecturer Pool - Department of Social Work AY 2026/27 San Marcos
The Department of Social Work at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for our pool of part-time lecturers. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool ad will only be good for the current academic year. This pool will be closed effective May 31st. If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you will need to apply to the new pool as it becomes available by June 15th.
