- Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Campus Recreation.
- Intramural Sports Lead are responsible for direct lead of the intramural sports programming including facilities, equipment, officials, and participants. This includes on-sight lead of activities.
- Position available on or after August 19, 2024 and ending on or before May 30, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitor program participants and officials during assigned shifts to ensure adherence to sports policies and procedures.
- Ensure the safety of Intramural Sports participants, officials, and equipment.
- Assist with pre-game meetings and officials' clinics.
- Monitor designated activity spaces to ensure games are completed on schedule.
- Perform pre- and post-game tasks, including team check-ins.
- Assist with the inventory and upkeep of Intramural Sports equipment.
- Complete shift reports and accident/incident reports as needed.
- Provide constructive feedback to officials throughout the season.
- Assist in resolving any incidents or accidents that occur during games.
- Educate participants on Campus Recreation policies.
- Report and address policy violations and unsportsmanlike conduct proactively.
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
- Facilitate games in the event of a missing official.
- Assist with promotional activities for Intramural Sports Programs and Campus Recreation, including staffing marketing tables.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in CPR, and Heat Illness. Prior management experience. Working knowledge of Fusion, When 2 Work, Microsoft applications.
- Officiating experience.
- Experience in playing intramural sports activities, Experience in managing team captains and players.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
