- Temporary hourly-intermittent Work Study Student position in Anthropology, Geography and Environmental Resources.
- Position available on or after September 1, 2025 and ending on or before May 31, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting visitors, filing, and scanning, archiving records, photocopying, creating and maintaining office files, emailing, transcribing, providing classroom support, and other related duties.
- Basic troubleshooting with technology (printers, computers, copy machine, etc.).
- Updating websites and social media.
- Maintain office and event supplies.
- Assist with event planning.
- Maintain program office.
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Retrieve and sort incoming mail and distribute appropriately/ make on campus deliveries.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Demonstrates the ability to utilize office equipment (copy machines, fax, scanner, etc.) and follow verbal instructions.
- Demonstrates the ability to be detail-oriented, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Demonstrates the capability to be motivated, dependable, and able to follow through on assignments.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently, take leadership, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service and office etiquette skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
