- Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in the Political Science, Public Administration & Leadership Studies department. Possibility of re-hire based on performance, department needs, and budget.
- Position available on or after September 8, 2025 and ending on or before May 22, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting visitors and providing customer service by addressing student and faculty inquires and resolving issues.
- Answering phone calls.
- Maintain Office supplies and equipment.
- Data entry.
- Document preparation and taking notes.
- Assisting with department event set up and take down.
- Perform research and compiling data for the MPA program by gathering information and creating spreadsheets.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Desired Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel).
- Desired knowledge of Zoom, and Canvas.
- Prior office experience helpful.
- Ability to work with diverse population.
- Political Science and Public Administration majors are not eligible.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
